RoomFlow

One hotel.
All together.

A room is only ready when everyone is on the same page.

RoomFlow connects housekeeping, inspection, laundry, maintenance, and front desk around one shared workflow.

The workflow: a housekeeper prepares a room and sends it for inspection; the inspector checks and passes it or sends back a correction; laundry shares supply updates; maintenance sees room issues; front desk sees when the room is guest ready.

The challenge

Great service.
Too many handoffs.

Hotel work moves quickly. Information doesn’t always keep up.

A room changes hands between departments. A missing towel, an inspection update, or a maintenance issue can turn into another message to chase. The challenge was to give those handoffs a clear home without giving the team more administrative work.

RoomFlow’s approach is simple: keep the room, the current status, and the next action together.

The product

One room.
A connected journey.

Purpose built views for the people doing the work. The same workflow, from first task to guest ready.

Clear next steps.

Room specific checklists and a direct handoff to inspection.

RoomFlow inspection interface

Nothing lost in between.

Inspectors can review a room, pass it, or send back a correction.

Laundry update in RoomFlow

A team in sync.

Laundry updates reach the team without another message thread.

The last handoff matters.

From ready for inspection
to ready for a guest.

Front desk sees the rooms that need its attention. A focused view, with the next action where it belongs.

The thinking behind the build

01

Designed for a shift.
Not a slide deck.

Large actions, clear room numbers, and focused screens for people moving through a hotel.

02

Different roles.
One source of truth.

Give each department its own relevant view without splitting the room workflow across disconnected tools.

03

Less to remember.
Less to chase.

Make the current state visible and the next step obvious, so the team can stay focused on the work.
